Baran City is also the District headquarters of Baran District in Rajasthan State, India. This City was Founded by Solanki Rajput in the 17th Century. But It became District on 10th April 1991 by Rajasthan State Government. Baran Land is also Known as Varah & Annpurna Nagari.
