• The forest were basically managed for sports of royal families and also to meet the fuel, fodder and small timber needs of neighborhood villages;
• In 1862, Dr. Brandis was appointed as I.G. forest for the aim of co-ordinate the working of the forest under systematic management;
• Jhalana is gaining popularrity for it’s Leopard sightning in their natural habitat;
• Apart from Leopard, Jhalana has other attractions such as Striped Hyna, Desert Fox, Golden Jackal, Chital, Indian Palm Civets etc.;
• This is also a must visit location for bird watchers, birds includes Indian Pitta, Dusky Eagle, Owl, Spotted Owlet etc.
