Welcome to Jhalana leopard Safari

Leopard safari is one of the installments at Jhalana Jaipur. Jhalana reserve has been enrapturing visitors with the exciting jhalana leopard safari. Situated right in the heart of Pink City Jaipur, Jhalana is slowly is becoming a favorite destination to spot leopards in the wild. Situated near the Jaipur Airport and home to about 15-20 leopards, the Jhalana Leopard Safari Park sprawls in an area of 20 sq km. And to much delight of the visitors , territory of some six leopards falls close to the tourist region of the Safari Park, making it easier to spot them often. Considering the location and the Leopard being a big shy cat, you might ask us, how can we spot them that easily at Jhalana? Well because, Leopards are the apex predators here. Yes, these big cats have no bigger competition from any other predator here, making their survival easier…by making them bold and confident about their environs….and thus better sightings.

Jhalana is actually a reserved forest area. So besides the Leopards, you will be able to spot other smaller fauna including Striped Hyena, Spotted Deer, Blue Bulls and Wild Boars. Palm, Babul, Bamboo and acacia trees continue to be methodically planted throughout the quartz hills and flat-lands of the Aravallis that Jhalana is set in. And thus it is also an ideal destination for migratory birds, despite being in the heart of the city.

An open gypsy safari is the best way to explore Jhalana Safari Park. And the safari is just two-and-a-half hours long….leaving ample time at your hands to even explore the city in the later part of the day, even if you spend five hours overall at the safaris, taking one each in morning and evening.

We recommend this Safari at Jhalana for one and all…be it the senior citizens, travelers with small children or the very much into their passion- the wildlife photographers, nature enthusiasts, women travelers, Solo travelers, Adventure seekers and so on and so forth.
