Lake Palace
Originally it is called Jagniwas, it served as a summer residence. Built on the island near Jagmandir in Lake Pichola between 1743 and 1746, the east facing palace is a wonderful sight to behold. The walls are adorned with semi-precious stones and ornamented niches made from black and white marbles. Gardens, fountains, pillared terraces and columns line its patios.

City Palace
The Palace of the City towers above Lake Pichola. The balconies, cupolas, and palace towers give a magnificent view of the lake and the surrounding town. In fact, this complex consists of four major and several minor palaces collectively making up the magnificent City Palace. The palace’s main part is now preserved as a museum displaying artefacts. Palace Of City architecture is infused with styles of Rajput and Mughal. The construction used granite and marble, and the interiors are laced with exquisite mirror inlays, colored glass, paintings, and murals. Saheliyon Ki Bari
Constructed by Maharana Sangram Singh II as a women’s garden, Saheliyon-ki-Bari or the Maidens’ Garden is a popular tourist destination. It has several attractions along with a small museum, such as marble elephants, fountains, kiosks and a lotus pool.

Lake Pichola
Picholi was the name of a village, which gave the lake its name. In this lake are housed the Islands of Jagniwas and Jagmandir. The City Palace lies along the eastern shores of the lake. A boat ride through the lake around sunset offers a stunning view of the Lake and City Palace.
