Entry Fees and Timings of Snow View Point Nainital
You can witness the beauty Snow View Point offers without any entry fees. However, you will have to pay for reaching there (via cab or ropeway). The snow view point is open on all days of the week from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm except for Saturday.

How to Reach Snow View Point Nainital
The Snow View Point can be reached by two modes of transportation- via road and aerial ropeway. The aerial ropeway is the best and most preferred way to reach Snow View Point. The cable car pickup point is in front of the Naini lake, which itself is a beautiful and most-visited tourist destination in Nainital. The charges for a two-way ticket are Rs. 300 for adults and Rs. 200 for children. The ropeway car has glass on all sides providing an excellent view of nature and the city as you fly upwards. The Snow View Point is located a little further from the drop-off point of the ropeway which is a steep walk.

Another way is by taking a taxi cab from Mallital to the Snow View Point which will drop you at the destination itself. Hence, it is more suitable if you are traveling with kids or senior citizens. For a hassle free commutation, you can book your cab from the top car rental companies in Nainital. The nearest railway station to Snow View Point is the Kathgodam Railway Station which is at a distance of 35 km from the Mallital Mall Road. You can hire a private taxi or board a bus from the railway station to reach Mallital. Upon reaching the Mallital Mall Road, you can either hire a taxi cab or take the ropeway. The nearest airport is the Pantnagar Airport which is about 72km away from the Mallital Mall road. You can take a taxi cab from the airport to Mallital via NH 109.
