The Kalpataru Botanical Gardens
This botanical gardens is in Umergoan. It is about 10 km away from Bordi. It is a well known tourist spot as most of the TV epic of Ramayana was shot in this garden. Kalpataru is a marine village. The botanical gardens is located here and is famous for the trees which surround the park. The trees which have been preserved in the park, gives the park a green look. Monsoon is the best season to visit the garden as the greenness that will surround you will mesmerize you.

The Depcahri Dam and Reservoirs
It is a big lake. It is bigger in dimension than that of the Asavli dam which is also located near Bordi. The Depchari Dam and Reservoir has a calm and peaceful environment.

Asavli Dam
The Asavli Dam is situated on a green lake surrounded by mountains on one side. Whereas, On the other side of the dam are waste weir fields. This dam was manually built.

Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport- Mumbai is the closest airport to Bordi. Mumbai is 145 km away from Bordi and Taxis are available from the airport to Bordi. It would cost you around Rs 2000 from Mumbai to Bordi city. Mumbai is connected to all major cities in India. The nearest railhead to Bordi is Dhanu Road, which is just 3 km away. Dhanu road is connected to Mumbai and other cities by rail. This should be the most comfortable means of getting there. Many state owned buses ply buses to Bordi from the nearby cities and Mumbai.
