How to Reach Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is well-connected to all major cities in India by trains and road. It is located in the Ramnagar city of Uttarakhand, 260 km from New Delhi, which makes it easily accessible. The most convenient way of reaching Corbett National Park is by road from Delhi, which takes around 6 hours. The nearest railway station to Corbett is in Ramnagar which is around 12 km away. It is connected by regular trains to all parts of India through New Delhi. Travelling to Corbett National Park by air is usually not preferred by tourists.

How to Reach Corbett by air
The most convenient option to reach your terminus is either Pantanagar Airport at Phoolbagh which is preferred for domestic travellers or Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi for international travellers, which is connected to major locations around the world. The park is about 50 km from the former and around 295 km (about a 4-5 hour drive) from the latter. From either airport, you can hire a taxi to reach your resort in Corbett.

How to Reach Corbett by train
There is no railway station in Corbett. The nearest station is Ramnagar, which you can reach by a direct train from Delhi. The Ramnagar railway station is connected to several other major destinations throughout India such as Lucknow, Haridwar, Varanasi, etc. Other stations like Haldwani, Kathgodam and Kashipur are alternative stops from where you can take a bus or taxi (a half an hour journey) to your resort in Corbett or Jim Corbett National Park. Some popular trains are Ranikhet Express, Uttar Sampark Kranti Express, Lucknow Mail, Varanasi Dehradun Janta Express, Doon Express, Corbett Link Express and Kathgodam Express.

How to Reach Corbett by road
You can also travel from Ramnagar to Corbett by bus, where you can choose from a range of deluxe buses or semi-deluxe buses. The fares depend on the type and bus and distance covered. Similarly, Uttarakhand state government buses ply from other parts of the country like Delhi, Haldwani, Moradabad, etc. to Ramnagar.
