Forest Lodge Corbett Park

Forest Lodge Corbett Park are the only option to stay within the gates of Corbett Tiger Reserve. Forest lodges are available in every zone of Corbett National Park. Inside the Dhikala zone, five forest lodges are available – Dhikala main forest lodge, Gairal Forest Lodge, Khinnanauli Forest Lodge, Sarapduli forest lodge, and Sultan forest lodge. The entrance gate for the Dhikala forest zone is at Dhangari. Bijrani Zone has two forest lodges for tourists – Main Bijrani lodge and Malani forest lodge, and Jhirna safari zone has Jhirna Forest Lodge. Loha Chaur and Rathuadhab guest houses are inside the Durgadevi forest zone. Kanda rest house is inside Kanda Zone. Kanda is on the northernmost side of Corbett National Park.

Dhikala Forest Lodge
Dhikala Forest Lodge, Corbett Dhikala Forest Lodge Situated at the edges of the Patli Dun Valley dissected by Ramganga River, Dhikala is the most loved part of Corbett. Dhikala is blessed with phenomenal natural beauty and charms that can really spell bind anyone. Forest department takes care of the lodge and booking can be done through forest office at Ramnagar. Dhangadi gate is the entry point for dhikala zone and dhikala forest lodge is almost 30 Kms from the entry gate. The journey from entry gate to dhikala lodge is breathtaking , you have to cross dense sal forest and Ramganga River with several seasonal rivers, enroute to dhikala forest lodge the animals you are most likely to spot are herds of spotted deer, Barking deer, Sambhar, Barasinga, Elephants, Hyena, Fox, Monitor Lizard and even Tigers.

Sarapduli Rest House
Sarapduli is one of the best places in Corbett to see the large mammals like tiger, elephant and others proximately. The Sarapduli Rest House (located on the Dhangarhi-Dhikala road) is situated in downstream of Gairal that is on the south of the Ramganga River. Near the river, you can see several bird species and crocodiles. If you are bird and large mammal lover, Sarapduli is the place to come.

Sultan Rest House
Sultan Rest House is named after the local seasonal stream called Sultan Sot that flows through this region. The rest house is in the midst of the dense forests and is really a great place in Corbett to feel the calmness of nature. If you are heading to Dhikala from Dhangarhi, Sultan Rest house is the first rest house you will come across.

Gairal Rest House
Drive through a small loop on Dhangarhi-Dhikala and you will reach Gairal rest house. Gairal is imbedded with wonderful nature creations that are speedy and noisy mountain rivers, dense forest with enriched wildlife and numerous more. Gairal is located on the banks of the Ramganga and offers a panoramic view to the entire park. Don’t miss out Gairal while touring Corbett.

Khinnanauli Rest House
Khinnanauli Rest house is located in the midst of Khinnanauli Chaur! Khinnanauli one of the newest rest houses in Corbett makes a great place to see the tigers. Khinnanauli is also reckoned as the shortcut gateway to the other corners of the park.

Kanda Rest House
Kanda is the highest rest house (almost 1km altitude) in the Jim Corbett! Kanda is in the north most of the Corbett National Park. Being at the top, you have an advantage to experience and picture the entire Ramganga valley with the top angle. Kanda located in the north of the park is also said as the neighbor of Himalayas for its resemblance to Himalayas in terms of climate, vegetation and wildlife. Here you get the truest feel of Himalayas as Himalayan black bear, leopards and other wildlife creatures will keep on reminding of Himalaya.
