Day 01 : Cochin
You will be welcomed on arrival at Cochin, former Portuguese and Dutch colony. The city is renowned for its bay and spice market. Cochin is identified photographically by large Chinese fishing nets. Traveling in Kerala is generally easy. It is a tourist place where you can easily find transportation. People speak English well in the area. Explore the old town: St. Francis church and the synagogue founded in 1568 famous for its blue tiles (closed Fridays and Saturdays). Continue to Mattanchery Palace or "Dutch Palace", which has magnificent murals. Discover the charm of typical streets of this historical and commercial city. You can also take the ferry to the islands nearby. In the evening you can attend a Kathakali performance, costume drama, song and dance, with themes drawn from the great Indian epics. Overnight stay has been scheduled in Cochin.

Day 02 : Cochin - Munnar (140 kms - 04 hrs)
Munnar, the former summer capital of British, in local language Malayalam means confluence of three rivers. Have delicious breakfast and check out from Cochin hotel to proceed for Munnar. Munnar is a small mountain town in northern Kerala. Especially we go there to enjoy the fantastic landscape of the tea plantations. The city Itself is quite pleasant and relatively lively. Greenery, mountains covered with tea plantations, forests, wildlife and valleys are the memories that come when you hear about Munnar. With a view that inspires painters and artists who see lakes and verdant tea gardens, Munnar has many places that is a must visit when you go for an Incredible Kerala Tour. Refreshing breezes, mountains covered in mist and the hectares of tea plantations, beautiful valleys and mud roads between tea gardens and some adventurous walk through the hairpin curves would certainly be exciting for anyone, and it is exactly why Munnar is one of the most beloved hill stations in India. Day 3 : Munnar sightseeing
Having enjoyed relaxed wake-up and breakfast, proceed to see and experience natural beauty and blissful climate of Munnar. Leisurely sightseeing comprises visit of Eravikulam National Park (spread over an area of 97 sq. km. and home to Nilgiri Tahr, several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds), Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, Echo point and Tata Tea Museum. Sightseeing tour of Munnar is a mesmerizing experience. Late afternoon return to your hotel and spend evening in leisure. Overnight stay will be in Munnar hotel.

Day 4 : Munnar - Periyar / Thekkady (105 kms - 03 hrs)
Havinng taken delicious breakfast in Munnar hotel, drive to Periyar National Park, spread over 777 sq km, where you will discover the beautiful mountainous scenery of spice plantations (pepper, nutmeg, cardamom ...) and tea fields. In this beautiful setting, you can see deer, monkeys and beautiful birds. Night stay has been planned in Periyar.

Day 5 : Visit Periyar
Move early for a walk in the park for wildlife viewing. In the afternoon explore the wildlife and nature by riding a boat on Periyar Lake. Discover the flora and fauna. This is the best way to observe wild elephants or buffalo that come to drink. Periyar / Thekkady holds prominence on Kerala’s tourism map due to three reasons: jungle safari on elephants/ jeep; observing wildlife from a distance while having a boat ride in Periyar Lake; spice plantation tour; Ayurvedic rejuvenation therapy and cultural activities. Evening can be utilized by indulging in either cultural programs or Ayurvedic massage etc. Overnight stay will be in Thekkady hotel.

Day 6 : Periyar - Kumarakom (120 kms - 03 hrs)
Having copious breakfast in Periyar hotel, depart for Kumarakom. If you are interested to stay in a small village in Kerala to enjoy the backwaters, sipping water of tender coconut, tasting authentic Kerala food and experience the warmth of fresh air, Kumarakom is the place you should be when you travel to Kerala. Located close to Lake Vembanad, Kumarakom is a sleepy little hamlet with exotic landscapes and the rare flora and fauna. The place offers boating, boat house cruise, fishing and tourism. Canals, rivers and lakes decorated with lilies and lined with coconut trees, green paddy fields and mangrove forests will be quite tempting for any visitor to have a vacation to relieve stress. Sailing in the rich waters of Kumarakom in relaxed manner is an experience in itself. Spread over 14 hectares, the bird sanctuary hosts varieties of birds including teal, wild ducks, egrets, herons, cuckoo, waterfowl, darts and also migratory birds. The place offers boat trip around the islands, giving you breathtaking experience to watch the birds and the beauty of nature. The sanctuary is open to the public daily from 6 AM to 6 PM.
On arrival at Kumarakom, check in at lake-side hotel. The whole day is free for leisure. Overnight stay will be in Kumarakom lake resort/hotel.

Day 7 : Kumarakom - Houseboat - Alleppey
The first half of the day is for your relaxed and languid stay/ stroll in Kumarakom. Have breakfast in the Kumarakom hotel and relish soul rejuvenating views of Kumarakom. There are two options of enjoying houseboat cruise and stay. Either reach Alleppey by road and board houseboat to cruise in the backwaters and canals of Alleppey only or board houseboat near Kumarakom that sails through to Alleppey. Here, we are opting for second option i.e. traversing the distance between Kumarakom and Alleppey on the houseboat. Then, early afternoon you will check in at the luxury houseboat; leisurely enjoy the pleasantly scenic pathways, green lagoons, villages, emerald green paddy fields and exotic natural surrounding while houseboat cruises through the backwaters. While you are relaxing in the houseboat, it is cruising along the backwaters of Vembanad lake and heading towards Alleppey. Your lunch, dinner, breakfast, supper, tea- coffee-snacks, as well as cozy overnight stay will be on the houseboat.

Day 8 - 9 : Alleppey – Kovalam (160 kms - 04 hrs)
Have delightful and delicious breakfast in the houseboat. By that time, you shall have arrived at Alleppey. Check out from the houseboat and proceed for Kovalam (190 kms/4.5 hrs). Kovalam is famous worldwide for its exquisite beaches, ethnic surroundings and Ayurvedic rejuvenation therapy and massage. On arrival at Kovalam, check in at the pre-booked Kovalam hotel. Kovalam has three adjacent crescent beaches, where tourist can enjoy fun-filled time with dear ones surfing the cool breeze as well as playing with the warm waves of the sea water. Have lunch, rest and relax on the alluring beaches of Kovalam. Overnight stay will be in Kovalam hotel. Trivendrum is the new name of Thiruananthapuram. Trivendrum used to be capital and centre of Travancore princely state. Recently it has been in news related to treasure of Padmanabhswamy temple. Enjoy breakfast in the hotel and sunbath at Kovalam beaches. Early in the afternoon, proceed for Trivendrum for half-day sightseeing which comprises Kavadiar Palace, Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Museum and Art Gallery. Later in the evening, return to Kovalam hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10 : Kovalam
Day free to indulge in leisure activities like sun bath at Kovalam beach & Ayurvedic massage.

Day 11 : Kovalam - Trivendrum - Departure
Have your delicious breakfast in the Kovalam hotel and relax on the beaches of Kovalam. Early noon, depart for Trivendrum to board flight for your onward destination. In this way happy journey of Kerala tour comes to an end giving you lots of remarkable memories and experience to relish in forever.
