Gujarat Rann Utsav 2026-2027<\/a><\/strong> will launch this year on 01 Nov 2026.<\/strong> Rann Utsav will be concluded for three months on Feb 20, 2027<\/strong> In this more than 3 month long carnival<\/strong>, there are different programmes performed by local artisans. This festival begins after the interesting sunsets during the full moon nights of winter. This is a festival of colours that shows Kutch ‘s wonderful and phenomenal lifestyle, earning national and international accolades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5,00,000 sq. is distributed over the area where the festival is celebrated. Mt. The glamorous full moon evenings often give this festival a special scenery and surreal embellishment. The annual event of Rann Utsav offers<\/a><\/strong> a visit to the Great Rann of Kutch, the region of the white desert on the border between India and Pakistan. The carnival offers numerous handicrafts and outdoor activities that make it a great holiday destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The citizens with a rich cultural heritage in the Rann Utsav<\/strong> improve the charm of the canvas of “White Rann.”<\/strong> The Kutch District is also recognised as one of the world’s largest salt deserts. History of Rann Utsav<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Organized by the Tourism Department of Gujarat every year from the end of November to the end of February, Rann Utsav<\/strong> promotes the natural beauty and other important things of the amazing Kutch region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The white sand desert looks all the more mesmerising during the full moon nights<\/strong> of the winter season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gujarat’s tourism<\/strong> department planned this festival to draw travellers from all over, after realising the significance and potential of this piece of property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This festival became a permanent tradition for 3-4 months during the Nov. to Feb. winter season in the 200s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dhordo village, which is the middle part of White Rann of Kutch<\/strong>, where tents are set up for visitor accommodation (Premium tents, Deluxe AC Swiss Tents, Non AC Swiss Tents), is the base of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Venue of the Rann Utsav Fest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The location of the Carnival of Rann Utsav<\/strong> is popularly known as “Tent City”<\/strong> in Kutch in Dhordo village. The festival will only take place here each year. With almost 400 tents, the Dhordo village is set up to remain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tourists can choose different tents according to their needs here. Premium tents, Deluxe AC Swiss tents, Non-AC Swiss tents<\/strong> and Economy Non-Ac Swiss tents are the styles of tents available here. So they can choose any one of them according to the luxury elements and facilities of the visitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the venue also houses a clubhouse for various indoor sports, a conference centre for business meetings, a pool, a meditation hall, a children’s area for children to play games, cafes and golf carts to explore the attractions of the surrounding village.
