Nagaur Fair is the second biggest fair in India. This is because the Nagaur Fair is mainly all about trading of animals. Approximately 70,000 bullocks, camels and horses are traded every year in this fair. The name Baneshwar is derived from the holy Shiva Linga located in the Shiv temple in Dungarpur. \u2018Baneshwar\u2019 in the local language Vagdi means \u2018master of delta\u2019. The fair is organised at the delta formed by rivers- Mahi and Som. The fair continues till Shukla Purnima of Magh. Baneshwar is situated 24 kms away from Aspur, which is in the Dungarpur district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
