This majestic City Palace is the most-visited tourist attraction of Udaipur. The royal building is a huge complex with plenty of rooms and pillars inside. It took more than 300 years to complete the structure properly.\u00a0ts construction began in 1553, started by\u00a0Maharana\u00a0Udai Singh II.\u00a0In 1974, a part of the City Palace and the &#8216;Zenana Mahal&#8217; (Ladies Chamber) have been transformed into a museum. It has now been converted into a heritage hotel. Still retaining the grandeur, it resembles a fairy tale kingdom. Enhancing the magical aura are the rippling waves and beautiful sunset.
