During these months the lake and the trail will be carpeted with snow giving you postcard-worthy shots and an otherworldly feel of the Narnian land. He can be reached by buses or private taxis. The nearest airport is Bhuntar of the lake. Chandigarh is the nearest railhead to Prashar Lake. The road till Manali is fairly smooth except for the patch between Chandigarh and Bilaspur. The nearest broad gauge railhead of the city to Mandi is Pathankot. Which is connected to Joginder Nagar railhead. Joginder Nagar station is 55 km away from Mandi. Where you can reach by bus or cab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>By Air : <\/strong>The nearest Airport from Prashar Lake is Bhuntar, approximately 60 KMs away. You will have to take a cab\/bus to get to Mandi. However, if you have no plans to explore Mandi, it will be better to get the cab directly to Baggi village. The airport has limited connectivity and might face interruptions in operations, given weather fluctuations in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>By Train :<\/strong> No direct trains run to Mandi from Delhi or Shimla.
