How to Reach Bikaner

How to Reach Bikaner is an arid desert city in the state of Rajasthan, surrounded by Thar, and home to the iconic Junagarh Fort. Created from an arid forest by Rao Bika, Bikaner took birth from what was called ‘Jungladesh’. Bikaner is now one of the most sophisticated places in Rajasthan, with good infrastructure weaving its way through the old and new, small and big houses and havelis in its lap. The city is well connected to the rest of the sub-continent via road, rail and air. With its rich heritage and many monuments as testimonies to this heritage, Bikaner is one of the most visited places in Rajasthan. The best way to reach Bikaner is to take a flight to the Bikaner airport and then avail one of the auto rickshaws or hire a taxi into the city.

By Air:
Jodhpur International Airport is the nearest airport to Bikaner, which is approximately 251 km away from the Bikaner City.
