Royal Orient Train
Undertaking a journey on the elegant and stately
Royal Orient is a memorable experience, which will
stay in the psyche of the passenger for a long time

Cantonment Railway Station and does a round of the

DAY 3 - Mehsana/Ahmedabad/Junagarh/Veraval
A travel tour to the elegant travel destinations of
Mehsana and Ahmedabad in Gujarat will initiate the
proceedings of day three. The tourists arrive at
Ahmedabad passing through Himmatnagar. Then the
tourists leave for Junagadh and breakfast and lunch
are served on the train, itself. The tourists arrive
at Junagadh and a whole world of beautiful places
and historical sites of the order of Ashoka Rock
Edict of 3rd century B.C., Darbar Hall Museum,
Mausoleum of Nawab Mahabat Khanji, are there to be
seen and appreciated by the passengers who now
become tourists on the prowl. Departure happens and
arrival occurs at Veraval. Somnath (the famous Shiva
temple on the shore of the Arabian Sea.) is one
religious travel destination on the list of the

Day 4 - Sasangir/Ahmedpur/Mandvi
Sasangir, Ahmedpur and Mandvi, are some of the most

covered on day four of the train odyssey. Departure
occurs at Sasan Gir. Next on the list is the popular
and commonly visited lion sanctuary after the
passengers have had breakfast on the orient itself.
Then the travelers leave for Delwada and lunch is
had on the train. Then the Royal Orient Train
reaches a bustling Ahmedpur, a picturesque Madvi
Beach and Diu. After having a treat of all these
delightful and travel worthy places, the luxury
train leaves for Palitana with the routinised dinner
being served on the royal Orient itself.
Day 5 - Palitana/Sakhrej
Day 5 begins with breakfast on board the train.
Palitana, is a very popular Jain pilgrimage center.
A visit to the place is planned out for 863 Jain
Temples, which are scattered across the grand and
sylvan Shatrunjaya Hills. A long array of 3,572
steps have to be climbed or one can utilize the
available chair slings. After having an eyeful of
these places, the Royal Orient Expressleaves for
Sarkhej and lunch is had on the train itself. One
arrives at Sarkhej to reach the Vishalla village.
The day draws to a close with dinner being served at
the hotel in the city.
Day 6 - Ranakpur/Udaipur
Ranakpur and Udaipur form famed heritage
destinations in Rajasthan. Breakfast is served on
the train itself. Ahmedabad is one place, which
boasts of a rich variety of travel destinations
varying from the austere Gandhi Ashram, the rich
Calico museum of Textiles, and the historically
significant Sidi Sayyad's Mosque. Departure for
Jaipur occurs after having lunch in the hotel.
Day 7 - Jaipur
Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, is reached on
day 7 of the train safari. A travel tour to Amer
Fort and an Elephant safari via Hawa Mahal are two
of the major attractions on a travel tour top Jaipur,
Rajasthan, North India. The classic city Palace and
the scientifically marvelous Jantar Mantar have to
be seen before leaving for Delhi.
Day 8 - Delhi
The tourists roll back to Delhi, India's capital,
where the journey culminates at the Delhi Cantonment
