The capital city of Rajasthan is Jaipur which is also called the Pink City. It is located in the north western part of India. It attracts tourists from the world as well as from the country itself. Another fort of similar importance is that of Jai Garh. This was built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh in 1726. This fort has preserves of military structures. It is constructed on hill top. The main feature of this fort is the Jaivan canon which is largest in the whole world on the wheels.

The City Palace – It has now been converted into a museum. It has both Mughal and Rajasthani architectures. At its entrance is the Jantar Mantar through which the movements of moon, sun and planets are observed. Hawa Mahal – It is a big palace with more than nine hundred windows. It is a splendid piece of architecture. The Ranthambore National Park is known for preserving tigers and other wildlife animals. For the purpose of shopping one can enjoy Bapu Bazaar, Jauhri Bazaar, Rajasthali and Nehru Bazaar.
