Delwara temples are a composite cluster of 5 temples.Dilwara Jain Temples is one among the finest Jain temple known world over for its extraordinary architecture and marvellous marble stone carvings, some experts also consider it architecturally superior to the Taj Mahal (one among the seven wonders on earth). the temple interior showcases the extraordinary work of human craftsmanship at its best. These temples were built between 11th to 13th century AD. The ornamental details of marble stone carvings is phenomenal and unmatched, The minutely carved ceilings and the pillars are just amazing. The story behind these exquisite temples is that the followers of the Jain faith belonged to the prosperous merchant class and they expressed their devotion by constructing these beautiful marble temples in dedication to their saints known as tirthankars. Right from the doorways to the pillars to the ceilings to the panels, each one of them has been carved with great craftsmanship and dedication. All the five temples have their own unique identity. The names of the temples are: · Vimal Vasahi (Shri Adi Nathji temple) · Luna Vasahi (Shri Nemi Nathji temple) · Pithalhar (Shri Rishabh Deoji temple) · Khartar Vasahi (Shri Parshav Nathji temple) · Mahaveer Swami (Shri Mahaveer Swamiji temple) Vimal Vasahi and Luna Vasahi temple are the most popular ones amongst the five temples
